The team has been very busy; the space is really coming together.  Equipment will be delivered at 1pm on Wednesday, January 6th– friends are welcome to stop by to check out the action. Our coffee equipment will be hooked up on Friday!

Home.stead has passed rough inspection! We’re excited to have jumped this hurdle, now we can close up the walls.

We just received photos of our beautiful new signs, made by the talented craftspeople at Drop Metal. Can’t wait to see them installed!

Thanks to the help of 20 strong and enthusiastic friends, the home.stead cafe space got cleared out and a dumpster of debris taken away in June.

The team is now actively working with our electrician and plumber to build out the space and some beautiful, old terrazzo flooring is being uncovered!

Elisa and Vivian did some hardcore cafe research while in London over the past couple of weeks. The coffee scene has exploded there over the past 10 years.

We signed our lease for the corner storefront in the Lenane Building yesterday! We’re so excited to have taken this next step in making home.stead bakery & cafe a reality.
